Our Story

Great to the Last Drop

Joe's Coffee Shop is an extension of our long-standing family business FMM Sugarcraft. I’m Lucie Clements, the manager of the coffee shop and creative space, and I work alongside my mum, Grace.

The coffee shop is named after my grandfather, Joseph who is set up FMM Sugarcraft alongside his wife, Mary in 1948. Joseph died at the age of 93, but we, as his family, still carry on his caring and hardworking ethos.

Joe's coffee shop offers breakfast and lunch options including paninis, croissants and cakes, as well as drinks. The shop is based in Hemel Hempstead, not far from Apsley.

There is nothing quite like enjoying that perfect cup of coffee. Our goal is always to provide each customer with exactly that. With great tasting coffees from around the world — from intense aromas to creamy textures — we are here to show you that our coffee can cure all your tension. One sip at a time.

Chloe is our barista extraordinaire. She loves the social aspect of the coffee shop and how it just makes you feel at home. Chloe owns 'Teeny Tents Events' and we are working exclusively together to create the perfect parties and events.

Rebecca Kilfoyle

Meet Rebecca, our marketing whiz! She works closely with us, planning exciting stuff in our monthly meetings—think seasonal promos and new events. Rebecca also crafts emails, spruces up our website, and keeps our social media going strong!

Future Owner

Maeva

Maeva is Lucie's daughter and future owner of Joe's Coffee Shop! She has been the inspiration behind making the coffee shop kid friendly and the plan is for the business to be handed down, from Grace to Lucie and then to Maeva.
